I started student radio in 2016, from where I won FreshAir's 'Best Newcomer', as well as being elected as the Student Radio Association Officer for Scotland. I also co-created 'Watt_radiO', Heriot Watt Universities' first ever student radio station.
In 2017 I created FreshAir's first ever Breakfast Show. This show was started from scratch. I presented the show, produced it, branded it, and created both audio and visual content to post on the multiple social media platforms I created. I was also appointed as Head of Production for FreshAir Radio's coverage of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Between November 2017 and April 2018 I carried out an internship at Capital Scotland, where I assistant produced the Breakfast Show once a week. I came up with both on and off air content, and brought new ideas to team meetings to further engage the station with its young target audience.
I am determined to break into radio, I am willing to put in as much hard work, and as many hours as it takes to get to where I want to get to.
