Colin Murray – BBC 5 Live, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Tv’s Match of the Day 2.

Colin Murray is a an award winning radio presenter with 3 Gold Sony Awards to his name, who stumbled into radio accidentally but since then has worked tremendously hard to be where he is today. Colin first becamse really well known in radio when he teamed up with Edith Bowman on BBC Radio 1 in 2003.

Today Colin Murray can found on a regular basis presenting on BBC Radio 5 Live aswell as presenting a music based show on BBC Radio Ulster in his native Northen Ireland. Any football fan will recognise Colin as the presenter of BBC’s Match of the Day 2 normally broadcast on a Sunday night.

Colin presented an award at the Student Radio Awards in November 2011 and took time out backstage to speak to the Pips about how he first broke into radio, the work ethic he puts into his shows, his advice on how to forge a career in broadcasting today and he offers a very unique tip to people who wish to work in the media.
