Student Radio Awards 2011
The Student Radio Awards have celebrated talent and excellence in Student Radio since 1996 and have helped kick start many a successful career in broadcasting, most noticebly that of Greg James, winner of the Best Male Presenter award in 2005. This years Awards were presented by Radio 1’s Scott Mills and Annie Mac who is the new Chair of the Awards.
The Student Radio Awards are very much supported by Radio 1, Global Radio and many other contributors. The Pips is also a big fan of the SRA and we were very grateful to be allowed backstage to have the last word with the excitable winners at this years ceremony as well as some of the notable award givers.
