Student Radio Awards 2010
The Student Radio Awards have celebrated talent and excellence since 1996 and have helped kick start many a successful career in broadcasting, most noticebly that of Greg James, winner of the Best Male Presenter award in 2005. Greg has since gone onto Radio 1 where he currently presents weekday afternoons 1-4, and indeed, hosted this years awards alongside his Radio 1 colleagues, Fearne Cotton and Huw Stephens at the 02 Arena in London.
The Student Radio Awards are very much supported by Radio 1, Global Radio and many other contributors. The Pips is also a big fan of the SRA and we were very grateful to be allowed backstage to have the last word with the excitable winners at this years ceremony.
